Throughout my third year at university i experimented with laser cutting and silicone.

I captured yarn, straws, beads, laser cut pieces and pom poms in silicone which you could then bend and mold.

My first laser cut designs were taken from my sketchbook work which i then layered over my samples. i developed these to create instructive words to help the viewer understand what to do with my woven samples.
